We’ve been busy yesterday. Well, our team in Japan were busy installing our exhibition along the Daiei Shopping Street in Uzumasa, whilst the Sydney team were eagerly waiting for their every word and photo coming through group messaging from our Osaka Bureau Chief Colin Smith, along with his assistant Hiroyo Kondo, and Kyoto based photographer Kyounosuke Natori.
We thank everyone from the Daiei Shopping Street Promotion Association, and the participating shop owners and assistants!
We are lucky, because Natori san can take great documentation photos for us. Here are some of the photos he sent through.
Tomorrow we open our exhibition as part of KG+!
昨日は忙しい１日でした。っとは言っても、私たちシドニーチームではなく、日本チーム、大阪支局長のコリン・スミスさん、アシスタントの近藤浩代さん、京都在住の写真家・名取響海之助さんが太秦の大映通り商店街で展示会の設置作業を行い、私たちはシドニーの各自宅でグループメッセージで送ってくれる太秦からのメッセージや写真を心待ちにしていました。
大映商店街振興会の皆様、各参加店舗のオーナーさん、スタッフの皆様に感謝！
名取さんのお陰で、素晴らしい、記録写真が沢山届きました。届いた写真の一部をご紹介します。
