   We received a comment from a student at Tsukuba University:
   There are three kinds of cactus in this picture. I think the cactus in the centre with the flowers is “Echinopsis eyriesii”. When you compare this with the image on the link below, we can see that it is the same plant. If you search internet for 短毛丸 (Tangemaru – Japanese common name for Echinopsis eyriesii), there are many more photos of the same cactus flowers.

   筑波大学の学生さんからコメントをいただきました：
   写真の中には三種類のサボテンがありますが、中央の花の咲いているサボテンは「Echinopsis eyriesii」のように見えます。下記のリンクにある画像と比べると同じサボテンだとわかります。インターネットで「短毛丸」と検索すると同じように花の咲いた写真が多く見つかります。https://www.flower-db.com/ja/flowers/echinopsis-eyriesii
