   秋田県能代市の「佐藤写真館」で撮影されたものです。写真館のほうで確認いただけました。
   Sato photo studio at Noshiro city, Akita, confirmed the portrait must have been taken in their studio.

     能代市にお住まいの画家、金谷真さんよりご指摘がありました。

     『「能代港」とあるから市政以前、電話番号が132とあるからだいぶ古い。』

     能代港町から能代市になったのが1940年だそうです。

     Makoto Kanaya, artist from Noshiro city, indicates that judging from the address printed, as well as the 3 digit phone number, the photo must have been taken before the city was established, which is 1940.
