   We received a comment from a student at Tsukuba University:

   This photo could have been a wedding which took place during the early Showa period. When I searched the internet with the search words 「昭和初期　結婚式」(Early Showa Period and Wedding), I found similar photographs.

   According to this article, it was common for people to get married in the bride or groome’s home in the early Showa period.

   この写真は、昭和初期に行われた結婚式ではないかと思います。インターネットで「昭和初期 結婚式」（昭和初期、結婚式）と検索すると似たような写真が出てきます。

   この記事によると、昭和初期の女性は、新郎新婦の自宅で結婚式を挙げるのが一般的だったようです。
