I think it is “Hagaku”, which was a pseudonym used by the scholar Michiaki Nemoto from Akita Prefecture.

The left hand characters on the framed calligraphy above alcove (tokonoma) seems to be the characters for Ujo (feathered), although I am not familiar with calligraphy, so I am uncertain.

The writing on the far right says: New Year’s Day.
    The name has two characters.
It seems to say something like: This morning’s 〇. The 〇 is followed by a character with a left radical (of character) with 礻.

I believe that the characters in the frame reads『瑞祥』which means, “auspicious”. It seems to be a word of good fortune. I can’t read the characters on the left side.
It looks like a splendid household.

This room seems to be the same room that girl in photograph no 109 was sitting in.
